A Look At S&W Market

It’s been over 6 months since S&W Market, Food Hall, & Taproom opened in downtown Asheville, and the space has really taken shape. We are all grateful for how you have turned up to support so far, and we are geared up for what’s to come.

Let’s start with dessert first! The Hop offers all of the flagship and rotating dairy and vegan flavors you love in cups, cones, milkshakes, and sundaes. Plus we always have a special S&W Collaboration ice cream on the menu for some more unique combinations. A few recent ones have been Thai Tea, Cold Mountain Winter Ale, and Bourbon Cheerwine Float Ice Cream.

What’s new? Ice Cream Flights are now available at S&W every day.

S&W has proved to be a gathering space as much as it is a place to eat, and the vibe is like nowhere else in Asheville. Highland Brewing’s 2 stations plus The Times Cocktail Bar provide the libations. Plus there are regular events such as live music, drag queen song-o, pop-up markets, and meetups, which can be enjoyed on either the main floor or upstairs on the mezzanine.

Highland Brewing’s reputation as a seasoned local brewery, and as a role model in the business community, means that their downtown taproom is full of friendly faces and masterfully crafted beer.

What’s new? Highland has recently introduced 20oz draft pours.

On to the food! Buxton Chicken Palace, Bun Intended, Peace Love Tacos, and Farm Dogs make up a group of top Asheville chefs and business owners. At S&W Market they have achieved delicious, affordable meals with a short turnaround time. It’s shown to be a perfect spot for a quick lunch AND a place to enjoy dinner or chill with friends and family.

What’s New? So many special dishes, special sandwiches, special dogs, etc! Some recent ones have included Buxton’s Chicken Parm and Bun Intended’s Coconut Fried Shrimp. To keep up check their social media…
