S&W Market Turns 2

Good Morning, folks! Join us Saturday, June 17th as we celebrate the 2nd anniversary of S&W Market, located in downtown Asheville at 56 Patton Ave! We have prepared a day filled with live music and delectable treats from of our fantastic fellow vendors. Entry is free!

Here are the specials from each vendor. Again, these will be available today, 6/17, from 12-5pm.

The Hop (that's us!): 2 Ice Cream Flights for $10.
Buxton Chicken Palace: 2 fried chicken sliders for $2.
Farm Dogs: Two hot dogs for $10.
Bun Intended: Two buns for $10.
Mikasa Criolla: Two empanadas and a soda for $10.
Gourmand: $2 off any sandwich.
Highland Brewing: A beer and shot for $10.
There will also be live music from Daniel Shearin of River Whyless from 1 pm - 4 pm.

Can't Make the Special Occasion?
For locals we recommend visiting or bringing the family on weekdays for lunch or dinner. I, personally, have always been able to park easily on Church Street or in any of the streets/lots South of Patton Ave. Our family orders from as many of the vendors as we can each time we visit. That way we are able to make everyone's bellies happy and support multiple businesses while doing so.

As far as The Hop is concerned, Ice Cream Flights (as recently seen in Our State Magazine) are the go-to. Since there are so many special releases and flavors in rotation it really is the best way to experience the most variety of our dairy and vegan ice cream. Ice Cream Flights are also only available at The Hop inside S&W Market.

It has been a tremendous joy to experience the growth and progress of S&W Market over the last 2 years, and that includes that of the rockstar Hopsters there. Everyone has had to adapt and shift and pivot innumerable times but, at the end of the day, have truly helped create a community in the space, one in which we are grateful to participate.

You all probably know this already, but I wanted to give another special shout to Highland Brewing. Highland is just a top notch company run by great people. As someone outside of their organization I have always marveled at the way they operate and treat their customers and team members, and since working more closely with them at S&W Market the awe has only increased. For many reasons I feel like Asheville is lucky to have them.

We encourage you to check out the Highland Downtown Taproom at S&W if you haven't already. Bring friends and family, enjoy some live music or Song-o with Divine, and give them some love!
